Anna came to ABCTC with a wealth of experience teaching people how to work with their animals. Anna grew up on a horse training stable. She spent years learning the art of training and showing horses from her father. She has competed all over the United States and Canada, and has placed at the National level in various divisions. She also spent many years giving both group and private riding lessons.
Anna has owned and loved dogs all of her life. Once, when getting a new puppy, Anna decided to take a class at ABCTC. That one class lead to another, and another, ….. and she hasn’t left yet! She has gone from the equestrian ring to the agility ring. She has competed successfully at levels as high as the AKC Agility Nationals.
“It is so rewarding to work with the wonderful minds of animals! They are so honest by nature and just want to please. It is our job as pet owners to earn their trust and respect. I truly believe that successful dog training is not just about humans being the leader, but more about building a great relationship with our canine companion and working together as a team.”
Anna teaches Puppy Kindergarten and group Obedience classes. She works full-time as a Computer Programmer/Team Lead and lives just outside of Eau Claire, WI with her husband Gary and daughter Morgan. She has two Australian Shepherds, Roxy and Jack, and two cats, Sassy Pants and Keiko.
